Our Development Centre

Innovative Concept Development Lab

Our concept development lab is fully equipped with an extensive range of ingredients and state-of-the-art tools to work on development projects for soft drinks, alcohol-based beverages, and powder blends. We offer laboratory-scale testing (1-3 liters or kilograms), enabling you to create prototypes with confidence. These small-scale trials provide you with the foundational insights needed to transition smoothly into the scale-up phase.

Commercial Laboratory and Pilot Testing

In our commercial laboratory, we conduct pilot testing for your products under UHT conditions, can sterilization, and small-scale contract packing for carbonated cans and bottles. Located in Shepton Mallet at the Rural Enterprise Centre, Royal Bath & West Showground, our facilities are easily accessible with excellent motorway connections and direct railway links from London.

Our concept development kitchen is where we have extensive ingredients and equipment for working on day to day developments such as beverages, powdered blends and snack bars. Here we can offer laboratory scale testing (1-3 litres) of your product in various formats such as cans, glass bottles, pouches etc that simulate factory processing conditions, giving you greater confidence to move to scale up.

The commercial kitchen where we can do large baking trials and other products such as ready meals. Our fantastic facilities are in Shepton Mallet at the Rural Enterprise Centre, Bath & West Showground which also has conference facilities and good connections to the motorway and a direct railway link from London.
